§ 150.02 BOCA BASIC/NATIONAL FIRE PREVENTION CODE, 1984 EDITION.
   (A)   There is hereby adopted The BOCA Basic/National Fire Prevention Code, 6th Edition, 1984 as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. for the purpose of prescribing regulations to safeguard life and property from the hazards of fire and explosion and the Code shall be known as the “Fire Prevention Code of the Village of Bellville, Ohio,” and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of The BOCA Basic/National Fire Prevention Code, 6th Edition, 1984, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section.
   (B)   The Chief of the Jefferson Township Fire Department shall be and is designated the enforcement authority of the Fire Prevention Code of the village.
   (C)   A complete copy of The BOCA Basic/National Fire Prevention Code, Sixth Edition, 1984 shall be kept on file with the Fiscal Officer at the village office for public inspection, and a complete copy of the Code shall be filed at the County Law Library and the Fiscal Officer shall have copies available for public distribution at cost.
   (D)   The fee for issuing permits pursuant to § F-103.2 of the Fire Prevention Code of the village shall be and is $10.
   (E)   The penalty for a violation of the Fire Prevention Code of the village as provided by § F-105.5.1 shall be a misdemeanor of the first degree.
