§ 114.03 LICENSE APPLICATION AND REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Applications for licenses for peddlers or solicitors shall be filed with the Chief of Police on a form to be furnished by the officer which shall require, at least, the following information:
      (1)   Name of applicant and physical description;
      (2)   Home address of applicant and social security number of applicant or tax identification number of employer;
      (3)   Name and address of the person by whom employed for whom they are soliciting;
      (4)   Length of service with the employer or person for whom they are soliciting;
      (5)   All places of residence and all employment during the preceding year;
      (6)   The nature and character of the goods to be sold or services to be furnished by the applicant or the purpose for which funds are being solicited;
      (7)   Names of other towns in which the applicant has recently conducted activities for which license is herein required; and
      (8)   The application of the village income tax form must also be filled out with the registration.
   (B)   (1)   The applicant shall furnish a recent photograph of himself or herself not more than one year old and approximately three inches by three inches square.
      (2)   The application shall be made at least ten days before the license is issued.
   (C)   If the Chief of Police determines after an investigation, that the applicant proposes to engage in a lawful commercial or professional enterprise, and neither the applicant nor the enterprise upon which the applicant proposes to engage constitutes a clear and present danger to the residents of the village, he or she shall issue a license to the applicant.
