§ 90.50 SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION.
It is hereby determined to establish the below listed specifications for the replacing or repairing of any and all sidewalks in the business and residential zoned portions of the village.
   (A)   All sidewalks will be constructed of six and one-half bag mix concrete per cubic yard.
   (B)   The width of new sidewalks shall be a minimum of four feet unless otherwise approved, which approval may be granted in certain instances to conform to existing adjoining walks.
   (C)   The street edge of the new sidewalk shall form a straight line with the outer or street edge of adjoining walls on each end, regardless of any difference in overall width.
   (D)   All new sidewalks will be a minimum of four inches thick except at driveways, where they shall be a minimum of six inches thick.
   (E)   Grading of new sidewalks shall conform to street level and provide proper drainage, which shall necessitate a slope of at least one inch toward the street for each four feet in width of the new sidewalk.
   (F)   Owners of residential property should take notice that the state has in certain instances established specifications for the replacing or repairing of sidewalks, and in the event that any state requirements are more exacting or extensive than the within specifications, the state requirements shall take precedence over the specifications established herein.
