(A) The following additional compensation will be paid to employees who hold the license listed below, only when the village places an employee in a job position, or assigns a task that requires the applicable license or certification.
(1) Minimum License Required - Water - Class I Approx. 60 hours + state exam
(a) Additional compensation + $1/hour
(b) Additional water licenses, i.e. Class II, etc. + $.75/hour
with prior approval by the Administrator
(c) Lesser courses, i.e. Water Distrib. I & II + $.25/hour
(2) Minimum License Required - Wastewater - Class I Approx. 60 hours + state exam
(a) Additional compensation - Class I + $1/hour
(b) Additional wastewater licenses, i.e. Class II, + $.75/hour
with prior approval by the Administrator
(c) Lesser courses, i.e. wastewater collection,
lab course, etc. + $.25/hour
(3) Wastewater III. No additional compensation at this time.
(B) The Village Administrator shall be responsible for determining the need for the above licenses and who shall be authorized to take the required training and examinations, and who must actually use these licenses on a regular basis in the course of their work. Only those actually working in a position requiring such license will receive the additional compensation described above.
