§ 51.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Generally. Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   Sewer use. Any person who is found to have violated an order of the village hearing authority or who willfully or negligently failed to comply with any provisions of §§ 51.015 through 51.019 and 51.080, and the orders, rules, and regulations issued hereunder, shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $500 for each offense, or those costs incurred by the village for reasonable damages or special expenses including fines and/or equipment rental, chemicals, labor, and the like, necessary for the proper operation and maintenance of all wastewater facilities. Each day on which a violation shall occur or continue shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. In addition to the penalties provided herein, the village may recover reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, court reporters’ fees, and any other expenses of litigation by appropriate suit at law against the person found to have violated these sections or the orders, rules, and regulations issued hereunder.
   (C)   Unauthorized discharge of liquid wastes per § 51.017(F). The violation of § 51.017(F) shall be a misdemeanor of the first degree. A mandatory fine of $1,000 shall be and is mandated, which shall be in addition to any jail sentence.
   (D)   Violation of regulations. Any person that violates a rule or regulation of the village’s water and sewer regulations after a non-compliance order has been issued by the Village Administrator shall be fined $35 for each day of non-compliance.
