Where a connection is made to a sanitary sewer at a manhole connection not previously provided for, it shall be made in the wall of the manhole with a smooth channel or pipe constructed to the sewer according to the directions of the Director of Utilities. A tee cleanout shall be used in the manhole; two feet and higher above floor shall require drop pipe secured to wall.
