Tap fees are established by Village Council after periodic review and recommendation of the Public Utilities Committee of Council. The current tap fee for a six-inch service connection shall be $1,000 for a property with a water meter sized two inches or less and $2,000 for a service with a water meter larger than two inches in capacity. All sewer taps shall be the sole responsibility of the builder/developer. The village will inspect the tap into the village's main line and the materials and manner of construction of the lateral sewer to make sure it is in compliance with village regulations.
