§ 51.046 FEES FOR WATER SHUT-OFFS.
   (A)   Except for emergency terminations made necessary by water system repairs or failures, terminations will be made in the morning after 8:00 a.m. during regular work hours Monday through Thursday, but not on any recognized legal or religious holiday.
   (B)   For those customers who plan to be out of the village for more than one month, or for those businesses that are seasonal, voluntary water shut-off may be requested. The village will make the shut-off at its convenience during normal working hours within five days of the requested date for discontinuance of service. The fee for such voluntary shut-off and later restoration of service will be $25, payable at the time of shut-off.
   (C)   When service is terminated for non-payment, service will not be restored until all charges for water consumed, late payment penalties, plus a reconnection charge of $50 to reimburse the village for expenses of shutoff and reconnection are paid in full.
   (D)   Water and sewer accounts which are more than six months delinquent may be certified to the Richland County Auditors office to be placed upon the tax duplicate for that property for collection with real estate taxes according to the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code.
