§ 31.17  CITY TREASURER.
   (A)   The City Treasurer shall receive and safely keep all city funds coming into his or her hands. He or she shall pay out city funds and debts of the city.
   (B)   The Treasurer shall make monthly reports to the City Commission showing the state of the finances of the city and the amounts received and spent during the month.
   (C)   The City Treasurer shall be appointed by the Commission.
   (D)   The salary of the City Treasurer is established at an amount as may be from time to time fixed by order of the Commission.
