§ 31.16  CITY CLERK.
   (A)   There is hereby created a non-elective city office to be known as the “City Clerk”.
   (B)   The City Clerk shall be appointed by the Commission.
   (C)   The City Clerk shall be at least 21 years of age and of good moral character.
   (D)   The duties and responsibilities of the City Clerk shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
      (1)   Maintenance and safekeeping of the records of the city; and
      (2)   Performance of all duties and responsibilities required by a city clerk by statute or ordinance.
   (E)   The salary of the City Clerk is to be determined by the Commission.
