§ 28-173 LIMITATIONS.
   The review and final approval of any proposed commemorative street or public facility name shall be within the sole discretion of the city council, which may reject any proposed commemorative street or public facility name. The city council shall apply the following general limitations regarding a proposed commemorative name change which:
   (A)   Causes confusion or misunderstanding due to duplication of or similarity with the city or county;
   (B)   Is the name of an entity or business associated with tobacco, alcohol, pornography, or subject to police regulation;
   (C)   Is discriminatory of or derogatory towards any race, gender, creed, political affiliation, or similar consideration;
   (D)   Recognizes a single person for a contribution similar or identical to the efforts;
   (E)   Consists of a logo or trade name for a commercially available product;
   (F)   Is any public facility donated to the City contingent upon assignment of a specific name to such public facility; or
   (G)   Is any public facility constructed from money or property donated to the city for the specific purpose of securing a particular name of such public facility.
