(A) Performance measurement will be by, but not limited to, the miles of bicycle routes created; new linear feet of pedestrian accommodation; increase in use of public transportation, bicycling and walking; the miles of connection added between trails; the increased efficiency of traffic flow through the use of sophisticated traffic control devices, turn lanes, traffic circles, and the leveling or decrease of transportation-related accidents.
(B) It is the Bellevue City Council’s intent that all sources of transportation funding be drawn upon to implement Complete Streets. The City believes the maximum financial flexibility is important to implement Complete Streets principles.
