§ 27.5-145 APPEALS.
   Any person aggrieved by the issuance, denial, suspension, cancellation, modification, or revocation of any permit provided for in this chapter or by any other action ordered by the director, may appeal to the city council by delivering written notice of such appeal to the city clerk within ten days after receipt of written notice of the entry of such order. Such notice of appeal shall specify every basis for appeal and shall include all written information or documentation supporting the same. The city administrator shall schedule a show cause hearing before the city council no later than the second regularly scheduled council meeting following receipt of the notice of appeal, at which time the aggrieved person shall bear the burden to show why the action ordered by the director should not apply.
