Any industrial or commercial facility within the city or within its zoning jurisdiction that directly or indirectly discharges stormwater associated with industrial activity into the City of Omaha’s municipal storm sewer system, must obtain an Industrial Stormwater Discharge Permit from the City of Omaha to the extent required by the City of Omaha. This requirement applies to discharges to both separate storm sewers and combined sewers, irrespective of the source of the discharges (e.g. only from paved areas and roofs). This permit is in addition to any permits obtained from the NDEQ.
