Prior to receiving a license under the provisions of this article, those individuals requesting a decorative appliance/gas log contractor’s license shall furnish to the Permits and Inspections Department a certificate of insurance which provides combined coverage for bodily injury or property damage in the minimum amount of $300,000.00 and shall strictly comply with this code and other ordinances of the city relating to the installation, alteration, repair or relocation of any decorative appliance/gas log appliances within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city.
