(A) All connections of private drains or sewers with the public sewers within the jurisdiction of the city or the construction or modification of appurtenances to sewers or sewer connections and all private drainage systems connected to septic tanks or cesspools within the jurisdiction of the city shall be made in accordance with the rules and regulations of this division.
(B) Any drain or building sewer which is to extend under or into any dwelling or building and connects the building sanitary drainage system with the public main of the city’s sanitary sewer system shall conform to the requirements of this division.
