(A) This article shall be known and may be cited as “The City of Bellevue Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Ordinance.”
(B) Except the words and phrases specifically defined below or in, Neb. RS § 13-3203, as amended, words and phrases used in this article shall have their customary meanings. As used in this Ordinance, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
DISTRICT. The Bellevue, Nebraska, Clean Energy Assessment District, created pursuant to this article, as authorized by Neb. RS §§ 13-3203 and 13-3204(3), which boundaries shall be the corporate boundaries of the City of Bellevue and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR. The Director of the City of Bellevue Planning Department or a designated representative, or a third-party administrator selected by the City.
PACE FINANCING. Funds provided to the owner(s) of qualified property by third-party lender, pursuant to the Act and this Ordinance, for an energy efficiency improvement.
QUALIFYING PROPERTY. Commercial property, including multifamily residential property comprised of more than four dwelling units, and industrial property located in the District.
