All ordinances, rules and regulations now in force or subsequently adopted which pertain to zoning, platting, subdividing, rezoning, use of property, area regulations, building permits, building code, plumbing code, electrical code, heating code, appeals to the board of adjustment, applications to the planning commission and related hearings before the city council are hereby extended to apply to:
(A) All areas lying within the corporate limits of the city, as amended from time to time; and
(B) All areas adjacent to and lying within two miles of such corporate limits of the city to the extent such areas are specified and included in the Official Zoning Jurisdiction Maps, as defined in section 26-40 of the Code.
