§ 15-174 ISSUANCE; FEES; TERM; ISSUANCE OF OCCUPANCY RECORD CARDS.
   (A)   When all applicable provisions of this chapter and of any rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto have been complied with by the operator, the Permits and Inspections Department shall issue a rooming house, second class dwelling, hotel or nursing home permit and an occupancy record card upon the submission of a receipt from the city treasurer’s office showing a payment of fee according to the following schedule.
   (B)   Before the Permits and Inspections Department shall issue any permit under the provisions of this section there shall be paid to the city treasurer, a fee as follows:
Second class dwelling containing 3 second class dwelling units
$5
Second class dwelling containing 4 to 10 second class dwelling units
$10
Second class dwelling containing 10 or more second class dwelling units
$25
Rooming house containing 3 rooming units
$5
Rooming house containing 4 to 10 rooming units
$10
Rooming house containing 10 or more rooming units
$25
Hotel containing 5 to 10 hotel units
$10
Hotel containing 10 or more hotel units
$25
Nursing home
$25
 
   (C)   These units shall include units used by the owner or manager. All rooming house, second class dwelling, hotel and nursing home permits so issued shall expire at the end of one year following its date of issue, unless sooner suspended or revoked as hereinafter provided. The permit shall list the maximum number of persons that may reside in the total of all rooming units, second class dwelling units, hotel units and nursing home units located in the dwelling or portions thereof for which the rooming house, second class dwelling, hotel or nursing home permit is issued.
