Every rooming unit, second class dwelling unit, hotel unit and every other dwelling unit in every rooming house, second class dwelling or hotel shall be numbered or lettered in a plain and conspicuous manner, the number or letter to be placed on the outside of the door to such rooming unit, second class dwelling unit, hotel unit or other dwelling unit. No two doors shall bear the same number or letter.
