§ 15-54 SAME—ELECTRIC OUTLETS.
   Where there is suitable electric service available from supply lines which are not more than 300 feet away from a dwelling, including all existing dwellings now supplied with electrical service, every kitchen, living room, rooming unit, hotel unit and nursing unit within such dwelling shall contain at least two separate and remote floor or wall-type electric convenience outlets or one such convenience outlet and one supplied ceiling or wall type electric light fixture and convenience outlet; and every bedroom, dining room, toilet room, bathroom, laundry room, furnace room and public hall shall contain at least one supplied ceiling-type or wall-type electric light fixture; provided, that in lieu of one supplied ceiling-type or wall-type electric light fixture a bedroom and dining room may each contain at least two separate and remote floor or wall-type electric convenience outlets. Every such outlet and fixture shall be properly installed, shall be maintained in reasonably good working condition and shall be connected to the source of electric power in a proper manner and in conformance with the electrical code of the city.
