§ 14-4 APPOINTMENT, QUALIFICATIONS AND TERM OF CITY PHYSICIAN.
   The mayor, with the consent of the city council, shall appoint a city physician, who shall be a resident practicing physician of the city and who shall hold such office during the pleasure of the mayor who appointed him.
