Where a fire lane specified in this article is required to provide access, there shall be maintained a fire lane of at least 24 feet in width and a maximum grade of ten percent with the road edge closest to the building at least ten feet from the building. All fire lanes shall have a curve radius of not less than 45 feet and a minimum of 13 feet six inches of vertical clearance. Any dead-end road more than 300 feet long shall be provided with a turnaround at the closed end at least 90 feet in diameter.
