For the purposes of the International Fire Code adopted by this article, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
DEPARTMENT OF FIRE PREVENTION. The fire prevention department of the jurisdiction.
FIRE CODE OFFICIAL. The fire chief or other designated authority charged with the administration and enforcement of the code, or a duly authorized representative.
FIRE CHIEF. The chief officer of the department serving the jurisdiction, or a duly authorized representative.
JURISDICTION. he area within the boundaries of the City of Bellevue, Nebraska.
MUNICIPALITY. The City of Bellevue, Nebraska.
