The Permits and Inspections Department shall be charged with the function and responsibility of administering this article. Such function and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to any appropriate inspections, administrative enforcement, the issuance of appropriate notices concerning delinquent taxes for all devices and machines covered by this article, providing direction to the police division required by sections 11-102 and 11-103 of this article, and such other acts as may be appropriate. Nothing herein shall be construed to usurp or relieve any responsibility of any other city agency.
