The National Electrical Code, 2017 Edition, including the amendments thereto recommended by the National Fire Protection Association of Quincy, MA, being the N.F.P.A. No. 70, 2017 Edition thereof, save and except such portion as are hereafter deleted, modified, or amended, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this division as though set out in full herein; provided, that whenever any provision of the National Electrical Code shall conflict with the provisions of the City Code or any other city ordinance, the provision of the City Code or such city ordinance shall govern. Three (3) copies of the National Electrical Code, 2017 Edition, are on file in the office of the Permits and Inspections Division and shall there remain for public use and inspection.
