For the purpose of this chapter, the chief building official of the Permits and Inspections Department, along with the electrical inspectors under his/her direct supervision, are hereby authorized and directed to enforce the provisions of this chapter and the provisions of the National Electrical Code as adopted pursuant to article V of this chapter.
