An applicant holding a valid Contractor’s License from another jurisdiction, which was based on the applicant’s passage of the same or similar examination as that required by the City, shall be exempt from the examination required in this article. In such event, if the applicant is otherwise qualified, a Contractor’s License of the type corresponding to the examination that was passed, shall be issued upon proof of examination and payment of the required license fee as stated in the Master Fee Schedule.
