§ 2-46 AUTHORITY TO SIGN DOCUMENTS, ETC.
   The presiding officer shall sign all ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other documents which require his signature and which were adopted in his presence, unless he is unavailable, in which case the signature of an alternate presiding officer may be used.
