All additions, alterations or repairs for which a permit is required shall be provided with a construction address identification sign. Said sign shall be of metal, wood, plastic or other approved rigid material with permanent numbers and letters indicating the legal address assigned by the city. Letters and numbers on said sign shall be of a size to be readily visible and legible from the public street. Said sign shall remain and be maintained until permanent letters or numbers identifying the premises are affixed to same.
