(A) The payment of fees to the city for building permits, electrical permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits and related inspections issued or made by the city within the city’s zoning jurisdiction under the provisions of this Code are hereby waived for the following institutions:
(1) The Bellevue School District;
(2) The School District of Omaha;
(3) The Papillion-LaVista School District;
(4) School District No. 46;
(5) Metropolitan Technical Community College;
(6) Any school, which as of the date of the adoption of this section, has been accredited or approved pursuant to Neb. RS §§ 79-318 and 79-703;
(7) Any college or university which has been accredited by a regional accrediting association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; and
(8) The Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District.
(B) The payment of fees to the city for building permits, electrical permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits and related inspections issued or made by the city within the city’s zoning jurisdiction under the provisions of this Code are hereby waived for any and all work performed by, or on behalf of or for the benefit of the city.
(C) Nothing contained in this section shall be construed as exempting the city or any of the institutions set forth under subsection (A) of this section from securing all permits and undergoing all inspections required under the provisions of this Code.
