(A) It shall be unlawful for any person who has been has been charged with a violation of an ordinance of the city, issued a citation, or in any other manner set at liberty, with or without posting bail, upon the condition that such person will subsequently appear in court at a specific time and place, to purposely or knowingly fail or refuse to appear at that time and place to answer any charge(s) brought against them under the Code of the City of Bellevue.
(B) Any person who purposely or knowingly fails or refuses to appear at the time and place to answer any citation or charge(s) brought against them as required by this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500.00, or by imprisonment for not more than three (3) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
