The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has in Kentucky Revised Statutes delegated to local government units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the City Council of the City of Bellevue, Kentucky, hereby adopts the following floodplain management chapter, as follows:
