(A) The Board of Adjustment fee shall include a fifty dollars ($50.00) administrative fee; thirty-two dollars ($32.00) for publication of a legal ad; three dollars ($3.00) per adjoining property owner (where applicable); and twenty-one dollars ($21.00) for a certificate of land use restriction (where applicable).
(B) The zoning permit fees are as follows:

(D) If construction, in any form, has begun prior to the issuance of the building permit, the applicant shall be charged a penalty equal to fifty percent (50%) of the permit fee.
(E) If the Building Inspector determines that the cost of construction estimated by the applicant is not reasonable in relation to the work to be done, the Building Inspector may use a cost schedule published by a nationally recognized authority to determine cost for purposes of the permit fee.
(F) After the initial inspection to determine compliance with the issued building permit has been completed, and a violation(s) is found to exist, the owner of the structure inspected shall be charged a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) for each re-inspection thereafter.
(G) No permit shall be required for the following:
(1) Exterior painting.
(2) Interior painting or wall papering.
(3) Patch and plastering walls.
(4) Minor repairs, as delineated in Section 4 of 815 KAR 7:010, which upon application the building official exempts from the value of the work to be done.
(H) The demolition permit fee is as follows:

Accessory structure $10.00
Each story or floor of the structure $25.00
(I) The fee for a text amendment to the zoning regulation or a change to the zoning regulation map is as follows:
Text amendment to the zoning regulation $200.00 (flat fee) plus $32.00 publication of legal ad
Zoning regulation map amendment $300.00 administrative fee plus $32.00 publication of legal ad, plus $3.00 per affected property owner plus $21.00 certificate of land use restriction (where required)
(J) The fee for a site plan review or development plan review shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus a refundable deposit of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for consulting engineering/planning review and/or conditional approval. Any unused funds will be returned to applicant after completion of the plan review and/or after the condition or conditions have been satisfied. Any excess expenditures will be charged to applicant.
(K) The fee for a certificate of occupancy shall be as follows:

(L) Miscellaneous building and zoning permit fees shall be as follows:
Lot divisions $ 75.00 per lot
Sign review in mixed land use zone $ 50.00
Temporary commercial use permit $ 50.00
Temporary advertising display permit $ 20.00
Building investigation fee $100.00
(M) Fees for revisions or resubmissions of Stage I, Stage II and/or site plans shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) per.
The city shall reserve the right to charge a fee (based on the extent of the revision) for review of revisions or re-submissions for any building projects as determined by the Building Inspector.
(N) All portions of Section 19.0 of the zoning regulations not in conflict herewith shall remain in full force and effect as if fully set forth herein and same shall be renumbered accordingly.
