(A) No person shall intentionally discharge any firearm within the City of Bellevue.
(B) This section shall not apply to:
(1) Any peace officer who discharges a firearm in connection with the performance of his or her duties; or
(2) Any person discharging a firearm in an act of self-defense.
(C) Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be fined not less than $25, nor more than $500 for each violation, or imprisoned for not less than 10 days, nor more than 30 days, or be both so fined and imprisoned.
