(A) A person is guilty of criminal mischief in the third degree when:
(1) Having no right to do so or any reasonable ground to believe that he has such right, he intentionally or wantonly defaces, destroys, or damages any property; or
(2) He tampers with property so as knowingly to endanger the person or property of another.
(B) Criminal mischief in the third degree is a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than $250, or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
