§ 93.36 APPLICATION OF REGULATIONS.
   (A)   This subchapter shall apply to any and all dwellings or dwelling units, new or existing, which do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Kentucky Building Code (incorporated by reference in § 150.01 of this Code or Ordinances), or any codes adopted in division (B) of this section.

   (B)   Pursuant to the provisions of KRS 227.320 the "Standards of Safety", also known as "Fire Safety Standards", as set forth in 815 KAR 10:020, including the 1979 National Fire Codes, the 1976 Life Safety Code, and the 1988 Kentucky Building Code, together with all other publications included therein, are hereby adopted by reference, as though fully set out in this chapter, as the "Fire Safety Standards" of the city, for the minimum requirements of fire prevention and protection, providing for a reasonable degree of safety for human life against the exigencies of fire and panic, and insuring as far as is practicable against fire loss. All subsequent updates and revisions of the "Standards of Safety" and its inclusive publications are also adopted.
   (C)   The City Clerk-Treasurer shall at all times keep a copy of 815 KAR 10:020, and the Fire Chief shall maintain an up-to-date set of applicable codes.
