§ 51.04 WARNING DEVICES TO BE PLACED AROUND EXCAVATIONS.
   At all times during the progress of a street excavation and sewer connection, it shall be the duty of the permit holder to cause proper warning devices to be placed about the opening in any public street to warn pedestrians and oncoming vehicles of the unsafe condition of the street. It shall be the duty of the permit holder to hold the city harmless from any damages arising by reason of the permit holder's negligence in warning the public of the danger existing in the public street during the progress of the work.
