For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
"BUSINESS." Commercial or industrial enterprise using a building including an apartment building with two (2) or more attached units.
"CITY SERVICE." Waste collection one time per week, additional pickup may be contracted by the customer with a qualified waste hauler.
"RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL." Units that produce residential quantities of refuse once per week, located within corporate limits of the City of Bellevue.
“SCRAP.” Any waste, or any old, abandoned or unwanted metal, wood, glass, block, brick, rubber, plastic, vinyl, slate, building material, roofing material, wrought iron, wiring, piping, copper tubing, aluminum, steel or any other material that may be recycled or discarded, for any purpose other than for the immediate discarding of such item(s) as waste.
“SCRAPPING.” Collecting, gathering or hauling of any waste, or any old, abandoned or unwanted metal, wood, glass, block, brick, rubber, plastic, vinyl, slate, building material, roofing material, wrought iron, wiring, piping, copper tubing, aluminum, steel or any other material that may be recycled or discarded, for any purpose other than for the immediate discarding of such item(s) as waste.
