When an owner of real property or at least one holder of an interest in real property requests annexation into a city, the process as set forth in Idaho Code section 50-222 shall be followed. The request shall be placed on the City Council's agenda and the Council shall make findings relative to which category of annexation is being requested. The Council may also consider and determine appropriate costs and fees associated with processing the request. The Council shall refer the request to the Planning and Zoning Commission (Commission) for them to make findings as outlined in 13-1-9, below. (Ord. 2021-11, 8-23-2021)
