There are no exceptions to the following criteria:
A. You as a permit holder must be in legal control of the lot or parcel in which the burn is taking place.
B. The permit applicant shall be solely responsible for all costs associated with the extinguishment of the burn and will ensure that the burn is completely extinguished before leaving the burn site.
C. There shall be a minimum of one-half inch (1/2") garden hose, or its equivalent, available with a responsible adult fire tender. The fire tender shall be in constant attendance on location of the burn site at all times during the burn.
D. Additional fire protection may be required depending on the amount and type of material to be burned and its proximity to any surrounding hazards.
E. The burn site may be inspected at any time by fire or law enforcement officials to ensure that all requirements are being met. (Ord. 2010-05, 8-17-2010)
F. Any person(s) not complying with this policy or failing to obtain a permit may be issued a citation under City ordinance and IFC 109.3 and may be punishable for a misdemeanor as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code, per violation. Each day the violation continues shall be considered a separate offense. (Ord. 2010-05, 8-17-2010; amd. 2018 Code)
