A. Permit Requirements; Exemptions:
1. Upon a written request, which shall be made to the Mayor at least seven (7) days prior to the date of said event, the Mayor may issue a special event permit as provided herein. Said request shall state the entity requesting said permit, the location, time and date of said event, and the nature of the event for which the permit is sought. (Ord. 97-11, 10-9-1997)
2. All permits shall be approved by City department heads in writing. (Ord. 97-11, 10-9-1997; amd. 2018 Code)
3. Parades and other special community events sponsored by the City shall be deemed to have received the permit without a request therefor.
B. Conditions Of Event:
1. The event shall be conducted in a manner to reasonably minimize the noise created thereby given the nature of the event.
2. The Mayor may impose reasonable conditions on the event. (Ord. 97-11, 10-9-1997)
