Alleys shall be provided in commercial and light industrial zoning districts, and may be required in residential districts. The width of an alley shall be not less than twenty five feet (25'). Alley intersections and sharp changes in alignment shall be avoided, but where necessary, corners shall be provided to permit safe vehicular movement. Dead-end alleys shall comply with the International Fire Codes regarding turnaround requirements. Improvement of alleys shall be done by the subdivider as a required improvement and in conformance with design standards specified in subsection 11-4-8B of this chapter. (Ord. 91-01, 12-2016)
