3-1-1: DEFINITIONS:
In construing the provisions of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply:
A TEMPORARY - SEASONAL USE: Includes uses that support community events and celebrations and shall not exceed twenty (20) days per calendar year. Events shall not exceed three (3) consecutive days. All temporary uses shall specify beginning and ending dates. Fireworks stands and Christmas tree stands shall be exempt from the consecutive day status. Extensions for additional days per calendar year shall be approved by the Bellevue Common Council.
BUSINESS OR OCCUPATION: Any commercial activity, trade, or pursuit conducted or engaged in for profit, including, without limitation, wholesale, retail or personal service business professions, and home occupations located or conducted from any premises within the City of Bellevue, Idaho.
LIMITED TEMPORARY USE: Includes uses of a limited duration that are permitted in the applicable zoning district. A temporary use of a limited duration shall not exceed twenty (20) days per calendar year. All temporary uses shall specify a beginning and ending dates. Extensions for additional days per calendar year shall be approved by the Bellevue Common Council.
MOBILE FOOD VENDOR: A self-contained food service operation, located in a readily moveable motorized wheeled or towed vehicle, used to store, prepare, display or serve food intended for individual portion service.
