8-2-9: CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
   A.   All construction or reconstruction of public or private sewer service lines shall be in accordance with the following, including subsequent amendments thereto, which are hereby adopted: the City Standard Drawings and Specifications, the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC), Idaho Wastewater Rules (IDAPA 58.01.16), the Plumbing Code and such other specifications and design criteria as may hereafter be adopted by the Common Council. One copy of each shall be on file with the City Clerk for public inspection during regular business hours, subject to inspection and approval by the City prior to use.
   B.   Plan and profile drawings shall be prepared for all new sewer mains (whether public or private) and for all sanitary sewer extensions, reconstructions, or renovations, and all such plan and profile drawings must be reviewed and approved in writing by an approved City Engineer and the applicable agencies before any construction work on said sewer line begins.
   C.   The holder of any permit for construction of public or private sewer improvements shall file record drawings with the City Sewer Superintendent prior to final inspection. Record drawings of sewer line plans shall be prepared by a professional engineer and shall be provided to the City prior to occupancy. Record plans shall include an acknowledgement thereon signed by the registered professional engineer in charge of the work that the record drawings of the sewer lines are true and correct, and that the registered professional engineer has observed the construction of the sewer line installation, and that to the best of his knowledge, the materials and installation of same were all done in conformance with the City Standard Specifications for the Construction of Sanitary Sewers.
