6-1-2: SPEED LIMITS:
   A.   Reasonable And Prudent Speed; General Speed Limit: No person shall drive a motor vehicle within the City at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing, nor at a speed greater than twenty (20) miles per hour, except where lesser or greater speeds are posted.
   B.   Speed Limits On Specific Streets:
      1.   Main Street: The following maximum speed limits are hereby established for Main Street (also designated as Idaho State Highway 75).
Twenty five (25) miles per hour within the area so designated on exhibit A on file in the City Clerk's Office, which exhibit is incorporated herein by reference.
Thirty five (35) miles per hour within the area so designated on exhibit A on file in the City Clerk's Office, which exhibit is incorporated herein by reference.
      2.   Gannett Road: The following speed limit is hereby established for Gannett Road within the City:
No greater than twenty five (25) miles per hour.
      3.   Around Parks And The Public School: The maximum speed limit for the following streets within the City, which are around City parks and the public school, shall be no greater than fifteen (15) miles per hour:
         a.   Memorial Park:
Cedar Street between 3rd and 4th Streets.
Elm Street between 3rd and 4th Streets.
3rd Street between Cedar Street and Elm Street.
4th Street between Cedar Street and Elm Street.
         b.   Bellevue Elementary School:
Birch Street between 5th and 6th Streets.
Cedar Street between 5th and 6th Streets.
5th Street between Cedar Street and Birch Street.
6th Street between Cedar Street and Birch Street.
         c.   O'Donnel Park:
Cedar Street between 8th Street and Slaughterhouse Road.
Elm Street between 8th Street and Ridgeview Drive.
Slaughterhouse Road from 8th Street to the east City limits.
8th Street between Cedar Street and Elm Street.
      4.   Signs Posted: The speed limits set out in this subsection B shall be posted in accordance with Idaho law.
   C.   Violation; Penalty: Any person exceeding the posted speed limit shall be guilty of an "infraction" as defined in Idaho Code section 18-111, including subsequent amendments thereto and recodification thereof, and shall be subject to the penalties set forth in section 1-4-1 of this Code.
