(a) After a permanent building or structure has been removed or demolished after the obtaining of a permit the owner or the occupant of the land removing or demolishing the permanent building or structure shall recontact the City to inform the City that the permanent building or structure has been removed or demolished.
(b) The City shall then have a duty to contact the appropriate county auditor informing him of the removal or demolition of the permanent building or structure within thirty days from the date that the City is notified that the permanent building or structure has been removed or demolished.
