(a) Standards for sidewalks shall be as follows:
(1) Sidewalks shall be concrete four inches (4") thick except at driveways where they shall be six inches (6") thick.
(2) Concrete shall contain at least six (6) sacks of cement per cubic yard and not more than five and one-half (5½) gallons water per sack of cement.
(3) Contraction joints shall be sawed or impressed one and one-half inches (1½") deep every fifteen feet (15') or less.
(4) Concrete shall have seven percent (7%) plus one percent (1%) entrained air.
(5) Concrete shall be cured and sealed with liquid membrane sealer which is an epoxy chlorinated polymer, containing a fugitive dye, preferably red. Some common trade names of the specified liquid membrane curing compound are:

(6) The bottom of the excavation for the walk or top of the fill shall be known as the subgrade. All soft or hard material and other portions of the subgrade which will not compact readily when rolled or tamped shall be removed and replaced with suitable material placed and compacted as specified herein.
(b) One tree of ten feet (10') minimum height, shall be planted in the treelawn in front of every sublot. The kind of tree shall be approved by the Planning Commission.
(c) Street signs shall be placed at every intersection and shall conform to the City's standard design unless another design is approved by the Planning Commission.
