(a) Duplication. As far as practicable, the names of new streets shall not duplicate existing or platted street names in Huron or Sandusky County, or approximate such names in spelling, or sound of pronunciation, or by the use of alternate suffixes such as “Lane”, “Drive”, “Court”, “Avenue” or “Street”.
(b) Continuation of Streets. New street names shall bear the same name of any continuation or when in alignment with an existing or platted street.
(c) Approval of Street Name. All street names shall be approved by the Planning Commission before approval of the final plat.
