The applicant for the building sewer permit shall notify the Safety-Service Director at least twenty-four hours in advance as to when the building sewer is ready for inspection and connection to the public sewer. The connection shall be made under the supervision of the Safety-Service Director or his representative. The Safety-Service Director or his representative may require such tests as are necessary to insure there are no roof, surface or subsurface drains connected to the building sewer.
